The first and maybe only Mr Oktoberfest was held on October 20th 2007 at the Thomson Country Club. This event capped one year of work by the NRDC which concluded the a party to celebrate the accomplishements which included the Carey Park dedication and the re-construction of the playing field including the new shed, walkway and new infield surface. It also marked the retirement on Pete "Manny Mastro" as club president. Good by and good luck, it was fun.
